European Pasque Flower
Quick Facts :: Growing Tips
Legend
Description:
8” x 8” wide, (seed propagated). A beloved wildflower from the mountains of Europe, Pasque Flower is a harbinger of spring, often poking up through late-winter snows to bloom. The dark lavender-blue, bell-shaped flowers are followed by fluffy white, ornamental seed heads. A willing re-seeder, Pulsatilla vulgaris will naturalize and gently spread in your garden when happy. Wonderful when planted with early to mid-spring blooming wildflowers, tulips and daffodils. Easily grown in any moderately fertile, well-drained garden soils. Zones 4-8.
