Southwestern White Pine

Quick Facts

Full and Afternoon Sun Xeric Western Only  Legend

Description:

60’ x 20’ wide, (seed propagated). An uncommon species in the trade, I admire this beauty for its soft blue and green colored needle, attractive grayish bark and fast 12-18” per year (once established) growth rate. Pinch new spring candles back by half for a few years to thicken up the tree’s branching. Excellent choice for wind breaks. Zones 4-8.
