Description:

Penstemon ambiguous must be planted in rocky or sandy soil and remain un-irrigated once established after the first year in the ground. Combine it with other sand loving natives like Ipomea leptophylla and Pestemon palmeri. Zones 5b(-15 degrees F)-8.
