Pelargonium Endlicherianum
Turkish Pelargonium
Quick Facts
Legend
Description:
10” x 10” wide, (seed propagated). An incredible wildflower from the Taurus Mts. of southwestern Turkey. Turkish Pelargonium is a perennial gem that will dazzle you with its large bright pink flowers in early summer. Closely related to the common garden geranium (which are botanically classified as Pelargonium). This very cold hardy plant forms a tidy mound of round, crinkled, dark green leaves and grows easily in infertile, well-drained soil.
Although xeric, don’t grow it too dry; deep watering every week to 10 days when there is no rain keeps established plants happy. In hotter, non-mountain areas, plant it where it receives a bit of shade from the intense afternoon sun.
Two year old blooming plants.
Grown in 5” premium pot.
Zones 4-8.
