Description:

4-5’ x 2’ wide (division) “The newest, bluest, hardiest, strongest and quickest” of all the Switch Grasses, says Harlan Hamernik (owner of Bluebird Nursery in Nebraska). The tight-growing, upright columns of sky-blue foliage are superb, especially in the fall when the plant is topped by a haze of sandy-colored flower spikes. Nice planted with other prairie wildflowers like Purple Coneflower and Pitcher’s Sage. Sold in 3 1/2” pots. Zones 4-9.
