Description:

6-12’ x 6-12’ wide (seed propagated). This is one of our toughest and most ornamental native, broadleaf evergreen shrubs. Red Berry Mahonia is valued for its fragrant yellow late-spring flowers and profusion of large red fruit that ripen in late summer. It’s a slow to moderate grower, depending on how often it receives irrigation. Thrives in any well-drained soil. Excellent for use as a barrier plant (with its spiny leaves) or for blocking unsightly views.

Zones 5-9.

Special Notes:

Ideal as a barrier or screen plant!
