Lavandula angustifolia ‘Ellagance Ice’
'Ellagance Ice' English Lavender
Quick Facts
Legend
Description:
14-16” x 15-18” wide (seed propagated). ‘Ellagance Ice’ is a superb new dwarf white flowered English lavender. Compact in its mature size, it is a very long blooming variety with clear white corollas (flowers) and light gray calyxes (flower sheath). The foliage is an attractive gray-green. Because of its small size and tight growing habit this new cultivar is excellent as an edging plant for garden paths or in knot gardens. Plant ‘Ellagance Ice’ with other blue flowered English lavenders like ‘Hidcote Superior’ to accentuate ‘Hidcote’s’ dark blue-purple flower spikes. A new European cultivar breed by Keift Seed of Holland.
Not recommended for fall planting in Zones 5 & 6.
Zones 5-9
