Description:
12-15’ x 10-12’ wide, (cutting propagated). A recent introduction from China, Seven Son Flower has proven itself to be an adaptable garden performer across non-desert areas of the US. Fragrant white summer flowers are followed by showy, long lasting red calyces that hold on the plant through late fall. A deciduous species, the plant also has attractive peeling bark for winter interest. Grows in all soil types including clay. It likes regular moisture for best growth.
