Helianthemum nummularium 'Burgundy Dazzler'
Burgundy Dazzler Rock Rose
Quick Facts :: Growing Tips
Legend
Description:
6” x 18” wide (cutting propagated). Deep rooted, bright flowered Helianthemum add low-car color to your rock garden or xeriscape. Rock Roses need only occasional deep watering once established and they shrug off the alkalinity in our western soils.
This selection has superb burgundy-red flowers, blooming in late spring, which are held over deep green, evergreen foliage.
Zones 5-9.
Special Notes:
Plant with yellow iceplants or Alyssum for a knockout spring show!

GROWING TIPS
|
When planted in western gardens that are in Zones 5 and 6, it is helpful to cover the plants with evergreen boughs (great way to recycle your Xmas tree) to protect the evergreen foliage from scorching in the harsh drying rays of the winter sun.
