Rose Glory Rock Rose
Quick Facts :: Growing Tips
Legend
Description:
6” x 18” wide “Rose Glory” has certainly proven itself in our Xeriscape Demonstration Garden. Where other varieties have fizzled, this beauty has been outstanding with its month-long display of bright rose-pink flowers. When out of flower the clean, glossy, green foliage makes a great looking groundcover. (‘Rose Glory’ has a more open, spreading habit than ‘Single Yellow’.) Plant in front of Salvia ‘May Night’ for a spectacular late spring combination.
Zones 5-9.

GROWING TIPS
|
When planted in western gardens that are in Zones 5 and 6, it is helpful to cover the plants with evergreen branches(great way to recycle your Xmas tree) to protect the evergreen foliage from scorching in the harsh drying rays of the winter sun. Remove the branches in mid-spring.
