Description:
12-15” tall. Mid-spring blooming. Commonly known as Guinea Hen flower, this woodland bulb grows as a multicolored mix of pure white and white-checkered reddish-purple nodding bells. Plant in shade with enriched, moisture retentive soil. Where possible, plant these wildflowers near north and east facing walls near down spouts from the roof, which provide the extra water they enjoy. In partial shade, plant with Sisyrinchium ‘Lucerne’.
