ECHINOCEREUS x roetteri: This is a rare, naturally occurring hybrid cross between Echinocereus coccineus and Echinocereus dasycanthus found in a very limited area of south-central NM. Notable for their huge flowers. Alan Gilmore has made selections of x roetteri selecting out strains with exotic multi-colored flowers.
