N. Mojave Co., AZ (12”x18”)Zones (5?)6-10(seed propagated) A very robust collection with most of the plants exhibiting the classic twisted spines so desirable in this form. The plants seem to cluster vigorously even as young plants. Perhaps not quite as cold hardy as the Wilson Pass form. *Collection # SB692

ECHINOCEREUS triglochidiatus (Claret Cup):* Very showy species with orange or scarlet flowers found from eastern NM and southern CO, west through AZ into NV, UT and CA. Very heat tolerant. Blooming generally begins 3 to 4 years after the initial planting as the plant matures. All E. triglochidiatus listing are cold hardy to Zones (5?)6-10
