Legend
Description:
2-3” x 6-10” wide, (Seed propagated). This is a beautifully sculptural, spineless or nearly spineless form of Claret Cup. Its dwarf stature and stunning, dark red flowers make this rare form a very choice garden specimen. It is native to limited areas scattered along the shared border of western CO and eastern UT. A true collector’s plant that is of interest to both cacti collectors and rock gardeners who might not normally grow cacti.
Zones 5-8.
