House Rock, Coconino Co., AZ An attractive form of Engelman’s Hedgehog with long black and white spines and medium sized magenta flowers in early summer. The plants typically grows into a small, multi-stemed clump as they mature. Seed was originally collected from the high, cold, dry plateau northeast of the Grand Canyon. Requires winter protection from moisture. Zones 6-9.
