Description:
4” tall, (seed propagated). Found near Belva, OK. Small plants with very short, lightly colored spines. On most but not all the spines are tipped with black. Quite attractive. Generally, this is a single-stemmed plant. Late spring brings a eye-catching display of big, deep violet-pink flowers. Plant in groups of 3 or more to mimic the colonies found in habitat. Zones 6-10.
