Description:

24-36” x 18-24” wide, (division propagated). The original orange coneflower from the breeding program at the Chicago Botanic Garden. A hybrid between Echinacea purpurea ‘Alba’ and Echinacea paradoxa, this lightly fragrant beauty has long, thin gracefully reflected orange to coppery-orange ray petals surrounding a large, dark brown central cone. Its flowers bloom from June to August on tall stiff stems. The long tapered dark green leaves are semi-glossy and attractive. Plant in any well-drained garden soil. ‘Art’s Pride’ is an outstanding companion plant with Moonshine Yarrow. Grown in 5” deep premium pots. Zones 5-8
