Legend
Description:
30-36” tall. Late spring to early summer blooming. This native of the Pacific NW is a showy addition to your perennial beds. Dense grassy drifts of foliage give rise to tall spikes of dark blue flowers in late spring and early summer. Camassia is excellent for heavy clay soils. In lighter loams Camassia likes wet feet over the spring months. It goes dormant later when the summer heat dries the soil.
