Aloinopsis spathulata

Hardy Living Stone

Quick Facts

Full and Afternoon Sun Xeric Western Only  Legend

Description:

1” x 6” wide, (seed propagated). My fascination with the South African succulents continues to grow with each passing year. Aloinopsis spathulata was the first hardy living stone I grew. It remains my favorite. This unique plant slowly grows to form a tight evergreen mat of blue-gray clam-shaped leaves. The huge shimmering pink daisies poke up just above the foliage in early spring. Cultural needs are the same for Titanopsis.

Zones 5-9.

Special Notes:

Plant with other South African natives like Nananthus and Titanopsis!
