12-18” tall. May-June blooming. The enormous 10” diameter flower heads composed of hundreds of pale lavender-pink stars that have an almost metallic sheen. Star of Persia adds a unique structural element to the garden that can be accentuated by planting it with the upright deep purple spikes of Salvia ‘May Night’. Excellent as a cut or dried flower.
