Agastache 'Orange Flare'
Hybrid Licorice Mint Hyssop
Quick Facts
Legend
Description:
36” x 18” wide, (cutting propagated). A newly developed hybrid from our High Country Gardens xeric demonstration flower beds, ‘Orange Flare’ is a backcross between Agastache rupestris and Agastache x ‘Desert Sunrise’[R]. The resulting plant has the same highly fragrant, finely textured gray foliage of Agastache rupestris but with much larger, fuller spikes of deeply colored orange flowers. Taking after its other parent ‘Desert Sunrise’[R], the flowers have exceptionally abundant nectar to attract the hummingbirds. Easily grown in well-drained garden soils with plenty of sun.
Zones 5-9
